Dear Enlightium Families, As the U.S. marks the anniversary of 9/11, we also mourn the loss of a brother in Christ, Charlie Kirk, to senseless violence. Kirk consistently used his platform to proclaim the gospel and encourage others to run to Christ. In moments like these, we are reminded of the brokenness of this world, but also of the eternal hope we have in Christ. God tells us in His Word: “Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted… Blessed are they that are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.” Matthew 5:4; 10 As a school community, we encourage you to take time with your family to pray. Pray for comfort for the grieving widow and children, parents and families, for healing in our nation, for peace in our communities, and for strength as we seek to be a light in a dark world. May we hold fast to the promise that God is sovereign, in control, and always near to those who call upon Him. May God soften our hearts. May He uplift the broken-hearted and comfort our nation. May He bless us all. In Christ, Principals’ Office
