Please note that the Christmas Break for students is Wednesday, December 20 through Tuesday, January 2, and that school will resume as normal on Wednesday, January 3. If your student is behind in one or more courses, consider having them work off and on throughout the break to catch up and start in a better position come January. Students also have the opportunity to work ahead in their courses. Working ahead is wise if you know of an upcoming vacation, if you want to finish classes early, or just to be safe in case of an illness or emergency. Teacher availability will be limited during the Christmas Break, so please plan accordingly. Additionally, teachers will need 1-3 days to respond to messages and assignments submitted during the break, and they will appreciate your family’s patience during that time.
